Default song

MashelBizzle: "We worry when God seems silent on specific issues such a 'what career should i choose'. The truth is, is there are many different careers that could be in Gods will for your life. What God cares about most is that whatever you do, you do in a Christlike manner"
Purpose Driven Life

"And when the answer that you want,
is in the question that you state,
come what may."
C&C BRS

Shoutout to Puffy for keeping it real like you just wouldn't understand.

I shall endure Teen Pep, or PROP, or whatever it will be named after Wednesday. Mr. Samanich talked me down from disowning the whole program. My endurace of the advisor is growing slim, however I will not be stopped from the initial mission and goal of the sometimes dull and typical skits/class talks. It's just that the frequent verbally condescending remarks from the lady in charge don't encourage me. Whiino (.. from the 50's? Eternal Sunshine, haha)

Since the majority of my music is on my IBook and not this, I'm using Jukebox by musicmatch for my mom's Dell DJ, and there's an old Steven Curtis Chapman song that I used to listen to when I was growing up, so I keep listening to it on repeat but I haven't made a playlist for just that song, so it keeps going to the next song after it when it's finished. The next song, of course, is one of those default songs that nobody likes, but always comes in programs and like "Shared Music" files on your computer, and at first I thought it was decent, but...it's like the computer was conning me into believing that it was tolerable. What I've learned is, it's not tolerable, not at all. Somehow I will learn to love this song, for removing a song that is there by default is not favorable. I mean, what if I'm supposed to listen to it or something? Dun dun dunnnn

I finally got a planner today. I lost mine over Christmas break. I can almost garauntee that there are plans I most certainly missed due to lack of guidance and structure. Hello, my name is Kelly Young, I am addicted to my planner...
Nah, it's all ficticious, I survived.

Reading Purpose Driven Life, no matter how many times or whether you actually follow the routine of 40 days of reading each chapter, you're always bound to learn something that you haven't before. So, after Michelle sharing with me her PDL tidbit for the night, I decided to embark on a PDL journey myself. The page I turned to shared this,

"Following Christ includes belonging, not just believing. We are members of his Body-the church. C.S. Lewis noted that the word membership is of Christian origin, but the world has emptied it of its original meaning.... For the organs of your body to fulfill their purpose they must be connected to your body. The same is true for you as a part of Christ's Body. You were created for a specific role, but you will miss this second purpose of your life if you're not attached to a living, local church. You discover your role in life through your relationship with others." (131)

Hmmm, interesting. That seems to be coming up a lot lately. Not only was it the basis of the message that Jess and Jed gave at Cross Trainers on Sunday, but a little of it was also discussed last small group. I know I definitely feel sometimes like I can just get through life on my own with God, but it's not about independance, it's about being part of a living body and really belonging. I'm belonging more to a church now than I ever have before, which is continually reminding me of and teaching me this. I never felt accepted at KRBC no matter how much of a great church it was, and prior to that, pre-Heritage times, when I was just "floating around", I thought that actually belonging to a church, and really feeling that sense of belonging was, nearly impossible. I knew it existed, but not ever for me. My God had different plans for me than I ever expected.

Ahhh I'm talking to my old friend Ryan from the Chiller! Man, talk about blast from the past. My late middle school/early high school buddy. Who else could I skate with to "Dancing Queen" extended version, on repeat, on a Sunday afternoon at Easton? Only Ryan, and the red haired Kevin skate gaurd, who broke my brothers ankle or wrist or something during hockey. My hockey guys are cool. I miss 'em. I think I'm heading to Chiller this Friday for a skate. It's been awhile. I never did get new Riedell's. Sometimes I wish I would've stayed with Figure Skating, but, I might as well take advantage of Katie working there. Only one worker that has stayed for awhile that I know. Yiiiikes! I shall be a lone skater.

I found an amazing shirt at Urban that I'm getting for my brother.

Ugh, here is that song again.

Bye guys.
