Haha, Jared got in trouble on his last day of school and had to push around the trash can

I know that was awhile ago but better late than never, eh?

Just so you don't forget what I look like while I'm gone.

:) Pray for the trip please!

Pants?

I leave for my roadtrip to Jersey/NYC on Tuesday. Rachel called from Outerbanks with confirmation on the final date so there you have it. In less than a week from now I will be there. Sometimes I just feel like it's where I belong, but I couldn't leave this place for long amounts of time anytime soon. It's been more than a year and I'm antsy thinking about it. I go new digital camera shopping this weekend so I will have lots of pictures. I feel so intensely spoiled to have grandparents living in Jersey and opening their house for me and Rachel, paying for our show tickets and being grandparentish. Hopefully I get to know them better.

Taking the Dad's car. Lower mileage and an automatic. Best for both Rachel and I.

Aunt Kathy lent me The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants today. I read it tonight and it was pretty good but very different from the movie. Saw the movie first obviously. I am biased. The story of Lena is much better on the big screen than in the book. Funny, if I had read the book first I would think otherwise I am sure.

I thought this was an interesting quote:
"You will make all kinds of mistakes; but as long as you are generous and true and also fierce you cannot hurt the world or even seriously distress her."
Winston Churchill

"This is a picture for Kelly.  We had fun in the city on Saturday - and thought of her often.  Please tell her that her graduation gift is in that pretty blue bag that Molly is holding!!!" -Aunt Ellen to Mom

BlueBag's from Tiffany's are my favorite.

(I've never had something of my own from Tiffany's.)
I'm so excited.

DP soothes the soul.

Ian made strawberry crisp tonight. I know Mashel's jealous and wishes she was here for it.

Speaking of that girl, I've got to get to Stoneridge.

Happy Birthday Mashel!

Mashel turns 18 today. I'm glad she doesn't feel left out of adulthood anymore.

I found a really adorable picture of my brother when he was about three looking. I may be younger than him but I can't believe he is 20. That is too old.

I saw the big dipper last night. I found it on my own.

Sometimes I feel really really tall.

I got a farmer's burn at warped tour yesterday. Plus my nose is bright red.

Swimming at night illegally is pretty fun- even if the boys are too wussy to join.

Mashel really is 18 now. I guess now I feel like I am too.

Japanese

Megan and Kelly got me a Japanese text book. You are now viewing my first Japanese flash card. At least this way I'll be semi ready for the actual class.

Haaa what?

"If you could be a peach and watch this for me wihle I play pool, that'd be great."

Song

Don't cry
You can rely on me honey
You can come by any time you want
I'll be around
You were right about the stars
Each one is a setting sun

6.12.2005

Song

Cheer up, honey, I hope you can
There is something wrong with me
My mind is filled with silvery stars
Honey, kisses, clouds of fog
Shoulders shrugging off

6.09.2005

hot wheels.

and I'll let it be known
at times I have shown
signs of all my weakness
but somewhere in me
there is strength

and you promise me
that you believe
in time I will defeat this
cause somewhere in me
there is strength

what up east coast

I'm going to jersey/new york in late june.

it's making my heart putter with excitement.

My house, 6/4, 6 o clock!

Relient K was just on MTV... They're going to be on this.. 10 spot drop thing.

The world is probably running on some alternative orbit? It's really the only answer I have to this. Which might mean there will be no sunlight, but I guess we'll see.

I have to squeeze my video and put it in my portfolio, and make dreamweaver thumbnail links. The video is kind of funny. I'm trying to finish it all so that I can show it to folks at my graduation party but commencement rehearsal gets in the way of everything! I never thought I'd say that.

No time for more blogging. Go go go

Ch-ching!

AHH! This is so much fun! I can learn like, Japanese if I want! Or Italian! And Tai Chi Kung! And Latin Ballroom Dancing! Tang Soo Do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go to college forever! I'm going to know everything in the world!!! (Keep me in this naive state as long as possible, thanks.) Yessssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!

I'm cleaning my room and bathroom. Well, bathroom's done but I'm working on my room and it's not lookin' so hot. I mean, I'm doing my best, and listening to girl power music. Man, Destiny's Child really knew what was up when they made Bills, Bills, Bills, Jumpin' Jumpin', and Bug a boo. This is what motivates me. Singing, dancing, and complaining about a non-existant clingy guy who needs to say my name before I go to the club.

Word.

Hmmm, I've got to go harmonize with the girls. Er-I mean... clean my room more.

Welcome to Otterbein College...

Take placement tests, register for 2005-2006 courses, shower, go to school to work on portfolio, shoot video etc., decide on an intro, make intro, zoo, clean hurricane of room, do a million loads of laundry.

Father, I can't get all of this done without You. Help a daughter out, please.

Meanwhile, I woke up and went downstairs to get something to drink and there isn't a front door? There is a plastice tarp taped there. Asked momma and came to find she's been paintin it all morning. My family is going nuts.
